February 15, 2023 at 2pm ET
Dr. Mary-Frances O’Connor has devoted decades to researching the effects of grief on the brain. Her book, “The Grieving Brain” addresses why it’s so hard to understand that a loved one has died and is gone forever. Dr. O’Connor is a renowned grief expert, neuroscientist, and psychologist who makes cutting-edge neuroscience accessible. She is the director of the GLASS Lab at the University of Arizona which investigates the effects of grief, loss, and social stress on the brain and body. Join us as we discuss the intricate way in which our brains process grief.
